My name is Tyler Shewbert. I am currently working as an electrical designer at Cammisa and Wipf in San Francisco, an MEP firm that specializes in healthcare facilities and other campus facilities.
I finished up my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, with a focus on power in June of 2018. I worked with Dr. Keith Corzine’s lab at UCSC and was been involved in several projects involving power electronics, electric machines, and magnetics. I was also an intern and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission working at a wastewater treatment facility. I also have bartended for eight years.
My personal academics interests include magnetics and nuclear-based space propulsion, particularly the use of magnetic nozzles for plasma jets.
